Got it, changed the Driver's Side after finding them in Richmond. Very easy, a lot easier than I thought.

Only question left, the one I got for the driver's side does not have a grease fitting and no grease in the boot, shall I buy some grease and try to get it in the boot? The passenger side has a grease fitting.

I would buy two new lowers at a minimum that are grease able. Now moog has very good parts and seem to be the favorites here.

I love moog, but i can't afford it right now, I will work on getting some grease in the new tie rod, I plan on getting and replacing the control arms soon adukart, because we found out the ball Joints aren't bad yet, and rockauto.com sells the whole control arm (Dorman) with ball joints installed for 60-80 bucks a piece

WOW, I took my truck up to Firestone (cheapest around) to get an alignment. They call me 4 hours later...

"Mr. Howard, we have your truck in the bay, seems as though your upper ball joints on both sides are loose."

"Loose you say? How so?"

"The nuts are almost completely off, we can tighten all of them for you, for $45"

"Let me give you a call back in 2 seconds"

So, I drove up there with out them knowing and said show me how loose. I get under the truck and they were HAND LOOSE, and almost at the end of the bolts. Well if you look up at the pictures on the first page, THEY ARE TIGHT AND ALL THE WAY UP!

Sears now has my truck because a buddy has friend up there, and they are now tightening my ball joints, and 4-wheel alignment...$65 bucks instead of Firestones $90 to Grease the tie-rod ends and torque the lugs..Thank you friends who can give me major discounts. Sears usually charges $79.99 for an alignment.

DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE EVER!

Here's the kicker..He asked me the last time I touched my suspension..When I told him this morning, he said that wasn't possible, and as he gave me the key, he said when I bring it back (he figured I was just going to go tighten them I guess) to make sure I lock my doors....I laughed hysterically at him.

Dang, at least you know better now. Imagine if you didn't know anything, that would've been a waste of $45.

I dunno, your upper driver's side ball joint looks like it might've been loose in your pics. Shouldn't the BJ flange be mated flush with the control arm? It looks like there's a 1/8 gap?

I can't see the flange on the passenger side pic but if was similar Firestone might not've been lying to you. Regardles, $45 to tighten 6 bolts is assinine so good move telling them to suck it!

Vandentr, that's fine and dandy what you see, but remember, I those pics were Friday night, I checked and rechecked everything Saturday night and Sunday morning while working on everything down there. And Fire stone had the Nuts AT THE END OF THE BOLTS, not just 1/8th of an inch
