98 durango brakes need help

Default 98 durango brakes need help

had a rear line bust,and abs and brake light came on,replaced line from abs pump all the way back and replaced both rear wheel cyl, but have no fluid going to abs pump and lights still on. front brakes work fine. but not getting fluid thru the "proportioning" or "control" valve. pls help

sounds to me like you got air in the ABS pump, in order to bleed this pump you need a DRBIII scantool, usually only available at the dealer.

that may be true also,but not getting fluid thru valve before the abs pump,master cyl working. just not traveling thru the control valve, if i could get fluid thru that to abs pump i could then bleed the pump.

Again, a DRBIII plugs into the ABS CAB and you can then electronically open the valve. Take it to the dealer or someone that has a DRBIII.
