Default Had it for 2 days, check engine light came on

Are you f'n kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Light came on this morning 20 miles after I bought my 03 durango. Yet I have no codes, I am soooo pissed. Called my sales rep and he says hey will take care of it, youre damn right you'll take care of it . 2 days off the lot, yup, that my luck,......

Dude chill out, the light could be for some $20 part or a fuse. They probably reset the light before you drove it.

That seems to happen alot...you better have them take care of it sounds really sheisty.

I understand that could be the problem, but dont ya think its a little underhanded to reset the light to hide potential problems to sell it? I have an appointment 1st thing tomorrow morning to get it taken care of, I'll let ya know what they find.

Exactly it, they scanned it, cleared it, and now its back. My dummy lights been on for quite a while.. lol.

I semi understand where ur comin from. But ya are buyin a used vehicle. Regardless they should have been honest though. CEL are annoying!

Yeah, it is underhanded. In fact is down right unethical. But I've seen it way to often. Sounds right though. About 30miles before it came back.

Thank god it wasnt anything serious, misfire on cylinder 3, new plugs, runs smooth as a babys but. Shoulda seen the plug, white as a ghost.

Glad you got it fixed. Hopefully they paid for it and not you.........
