Thanks! It's getting even better, I see they also have a $40 rebate on these shocks! I used the Monroe Magnums on my Silverado back in the late '80's. They lasted forever & the ride was much improved over stock shocks.

Typically the Monroe makes a good shock. However, the Monroe Sensa-Trac (regular not the coil overs) were the worst shock I've seen on the market so stray far away from these.

For others I used the Monroe Sensa-Trac load-adjusting, coil-over, shock (mainly benefits for towing because you can handle an extra 1,000# tongue weight without the rear-end dropping) and LOVED the shocks. I stuck with Monroe Reflex on the front however...

The Sensa-Trac load adjusting shock is a ridiculously heavy duty shock so shall only be used in cases where you tow a low or it will ride like crap! FWIW, here's a pic of them installed on my D:

Well, I do pull a pontoon. I never really noticed the truck squatting with the stock shocks on. I never weighed the tongue weight & havent' seen any stickers on the trailer. So are the Monroe Reflex going to hold up the rear like the stockers do? Besides the hole rusted in one of the rear shocks, the front ones are bumping up & down too much on hilly corners.

Yes, in fact the Monroe should hold up better because they are suited for towing. The tongue weight for a pontoon boat is not a lot, generally around 300-500# and your Durango will be able to handle it, even with a soft shocks, just fine!

I would replace all 4 with the Monroe Reflex, trust me you will be more then happy with how it rides after the replacement.

I have Monroe reflexes and it's going to 6 years now and they still ride smooth and respond pretty good.
