Default Heater Core Replacement in Progress

Hi folks-

Thanks to the DIY threads I've successfully partially pulled the dash and removed the heater/AC box. I've also popped the lid off the box and swapped out the heater and evap cores. Have a new blower motor on the way as well. Much easier than expected with the pics on this forum.

My question is how everyone else re-sealed the box, and where did you get new foam seals for the firewall side of the box? I can't find these seals/gaskets anywhere.

Thanks in advance-

Sometimes you can get away with salvaging the seals, if not, the easiest place is to get it from the dealer and IIRC it's like an $8 seal from there.

Check home depot etc. Also replace all your orings in your ac system while you got it evacuated.
