I have a 2002 Durango RT. 2 days ago, the front blower stopped coming on. The rear climate system still turns on as normal. The odd thing is that even in the off position, the AC indicator light will turn on and off. Also, with the AC "on" the AC clutch engages and the engine fan turns on. I am thinking it may be the switch itself. I checked all the fuses, tried different ouput/temp settings.

Any ideas?

check the blower motor resistor for the front fan, its in the dash under the glovebox (you can get to it from the passenger side floor)

also if the rear fan is on the a/c button will still cycle the led and fan clutch ect on/off
