My 2003 Dodge durango will not start
Husband tested the voltage on batterry posts stayed 12volts and he tested voltage on starter.
You touch the BATTERY POST, NOT THE TERMINALS with the multi-meeter and read the voltage. Without moving the multi-meter ends, get a second person to turn the igntion switch to start whilst the oter person contiues to hold the multi-meter to the battery posts. If the voltage drops slightly and the relay clicks then your issue is the solenoid/wiring/terminals/battery. If the volts drop down like 1.5-2.0 volts then your issue is a bad starter.
