Default drivetrain problems!!

hello my name is jeff i own a 99 durango slt. my first major problem was my drive shaft broke off at the front u joint. After i fixed that my hanldle to engage the 4x4 would shake so bad it make the hole truck shake. then about a week later i went to pull out on a hill there was a loud bang and the truck wouldn't move. when i looked underneath the tranny had broke off right at the bellhousing. i had a freind look at it and he told me it was just the bellhousing. now my question is will i have to replace everything or just the bellhousing?

You can replace the bell housing, but everything internal would have to switched. By the time u pay the price for a shop, your best bet might to just replace the tranny itself while it's out

Without being able to inspect in person, I'm not sure. Whoever fixes your transmission will have to inspect it
