Default help with my abs

i have a 00 durango with the 5.2 2wd. the abs and brake lights stay on due to the fuse being removed. ( it was pulled out before i bought it). i put a new fuse in and the pump begins to run with NO key in the ignition. i have read several thing and some have said the pump shaft may have sheared. is there a way to check this short of pullong everything apart and if the shaft is good what else could it be?

If the ABS pump is constantly running without even the key being in the ignition then the ABS CAB (the ABS module) is bad and needs replaced. Best thing to do is have YOURS rebuilt and re-install it.
