so the insulation on the underside of my hood is all torn up and rotting so im pulling it off and i ordered new stuff off ebay. now i wanna paint a logo on it so when you lift the hood you see it there on the underside. now can i just use spray paint? do i need to spray paint it and clear coat what i paint? do i need high temp paint or paint that is specific for fiberglass?

 

there are companies that make themw ith logos on them, you should find one of those companies and buy one with the logo you want on it.

simply put doing it on your own is very unlikely to look good unless you know exactly what you are doing (i dont, and from reading your post neither do you)

 

The stock one had/has a RAM log on it.

With that said, just take it off and throw it away. It isn't needed and impossible to keep clean and intact over the years.

Well I got new stuff you cut to size. I'll just put it up and not paint it

 

I could not resist when i saw the logo, It has been on for a few weeks and no difference in appearance.
How can i put in photo in thread ?

 

And next year it will look like crap.

Been there, done that. Even masked off my logo and had it painted. A total waste of time and money.

Just get rid of it and call it a day.
