Default 2003 sxt durango shut off question

Truck as 70,000 miles . Never had a issue untill today. I was driving came to a stop and the car shut off. I put it in Parked and tried to restart but it just cranked and didnt start. I waited about 8 minutes and the car started got it into my driveway and let it run where it died again. Waited 5 minutes and it did retstart but shut off again on its own. I hear the fuel pump come when i turn on the key. Any advise where to start. I am resetting the computer and gonna try starting it agiain and hopeful it puts a code out. My check engine light as been on for months because of low emiision leak code i cant fix.
just checked the psi and its 46psi and holds

The truck started after it cooled down and pulled code 0344 when it stalled. Any thoughts ? It seems to stall when the motor heats up. I also just pulled the plugs. Do you think these may be the problem?

Try removing and cleanin the throttle body with carb cleaner and a toothbrush had the same issue with my 02 szt and that fixed it

the plugs definitely need to be replaced, also it would help to know which engine we are working on, 4.7 or 5.9???

next time it stalls try putting a bag of ice on the PCM and see if it will then fire up with the bag of ice on it, if so your PCM is overheating and shutting down. This is a common issue on dark colored trucks in 98-00 model years, not common on the later years, but your symptoms match pretty closely

4.7 motor. I read that about the PCM but I thought it was corrected in 2001. I will give a shot tomorrow and keep all posted thanks

the main cause of the issue was correct with the other changes made in 2001, but that does not mean it is impossible to happen in the later year trucks, its just very very rare (in 2001+ trucks)
