i went to replace the rear wiper motor in my 99 and i went got a used one from the wrecking yard and didnt realize it till 2-3 months later when i finally got to install it they sold me a 4 pin connector setup and the rig uses a 3pin what is the diffrence i have a good 4 pin id trade for a 3pin but just wondering the diffrence in the two is it year or did they go to a 01 and newer hatch when it was wrecked

The 2000 has the old style, the gate I took off a 2000 in the junk yard had to have the wiper motor changed because my 2001 uses the 4 pin. I do have a spare 3 pin.
