Is it just me or does it seem that my rango really likes to kill bugs, my windsheild looks like ive been driveing for days, yet i just cleaned it yesterday.

Has anyone else seen this or is it just me?

We had a really warm winter this year so there will be
plenty of insects to smack...

But my wifes hyundai isnt getting it as bad as i am, and we drive same distance everyday. I thought it may be a dodge thing, maybe how the hood flows with the glass.

i do NOT generally have a problem with picking up bugs, only time we have had an issue is when driving through an area w/ a larger than 'normal' amount of bugs

Absolutely, driving to school about 9 miles gets my windshield full of bugs, I think the main reason is that Durango windshields aren't very slanted towards the cab so bugs don't hit then slide off, they hit and splat.

My Rango loves killing bugs, Fords and lots of worthless things....:lol:

Put a bug shield in front an see if that helps make the bugs stay off some,,, I don't have one on my D yet but will soon an not sure how good it will help with that bug prob but I going to put one on for looks,,,,,

Mine too! Compared to my Neon, the Durango just gets COVERED in bug mess, even in just my daily work commute.

I agree, ive never really liked the look of bug deflectors, more so with the dodge since it comes in 3 peices(i know most ppl only put on the center) but i love rain guards for my windows, and i might aswell do both just to see if it cuts down on some of that red window paint.
