Default A/C Fan control problem

So my A/C fan control dial is strange, it's almost like all of the options have moved one slot to the left. The the highest setting is the 2nd to last one while the lowest setting is the last one, so therefore I have no off option. Any suggestions what I should do? Is it wiring problems or the panel itself. It's the 01-03 A/C panel, as I think it's changed from the 98-00 panels.

sounds like a wiring problem most of the time fan speed issues are moving in the opposite direction from what you have.

I would replace the blower motor resistor if i were you, its <$20 from the stealer so replace it and see if it takes care of it.

I've gotta second sharp. I've got an 03 and we had problems with ours on and off a few years ago. It was burning through wiring like crazy. Replacing the resistor solved the problem, but if yours still isn't working you may also need all new wiring like we did.

Also, check for moisture around the contacts on the harness. contacts on the wiring harness plugs can corrode and blow resister. You can solve this by applying some di-electric grease on the contact pins to help make them moisture resistant.
