Default 4.7L performance

Is it possible to get performance parts for the 4.7 or is it hopeless? I really want to get some more power out of my Durango.

I haven't done it myself, but I know a lot of guys on here have made their own/ bought online CAI, which would obviously improve performance a bit, and you can always have it tuned to run better on the premium gas..

Other than that, if your plugs haven't ever been replaced, that's a start.

For the budget performance mods for the 4.7, I would start with a home made ram air intake and replace the paper filter for a K&N filter.

Next upgrade is upgrade your throttle body for a bigger one from Fastman.

Next upgrade is problaby a cat back exhaust or PCM tuner such as superchiper tuner (not the piggy back chip).

For serious power upgrades, problaby cheapest to replace the old generation 4.7 for the latest 4.7 that makes over 317 HP staight from the factory as opposed to possibly supercharging your 4.7.
