Had a scary incident the other day... my brakes went spongy on me, and there was a high pitched whistling sound every time I stepped on them. Almost rear ended another person.
I checked the fluid, etc and all was good. Took it to my mechanic friend and he said the booster is leaking internally.

I've got one on the way, how hard is it to replace? I really don't want to have to take it to my friend, as he usually never charges me much, but is always covered up with other paying work.
