Default Drivetrain compatibility question

I have a 2000 Durango with a 4.7. It has the 3.55 gear ratio with a 231 transfer case. I am parting out this vehicle. I also have a 99 durango with a 5.9. It has 3.92 gear ratio with the 242 transfer case. The 99 durango has some drivetrain noise and higher miles. What can I switch over from the 2000. Can I just switch the differentials and nothing else or do I have to switch the transfer case too? Or is this not really that easy to do. Do any of the electronics have to be switched over. Thanks for any help.

the rear axle should swap over pretty much bolt in place and go, the fronts should be doable but may not be the same part i believe they switched front ends for the 00 model year (you would have to swap both)

no you would not have to change the t-case just the front and rear axle assemblies.
