Default Suspension bushings...

I am looking for more of a generalized thought on bushings. Here is why..I have posted on here about the funny thumping sounds I notice when turning left in the Rango. I may have figured this out, but wanted a few thoughts on what I am thinking about doing. First..I am thinking about swapping out the rubber bushings on the...what I am assuming is the sway bar. It runs from one side to the other..has 2 D-style bushings that bolt around it in the middle, and to O-style bushings on the ends, right beside the lower shock mounts. I am assuming the bushings are shot because I can grab the bar with my hands and shake it, it seems to rattle at the ends. I have looked at the energy suspension website..I will go with those, or Moog..I also noticed upon further inspection, it seems that the CV shaft, where it mounts at the transmission is loose. I will take a picture here in a few..maybe if I can get a video to upload on photobucket..I have not messed with tightening the bolts down yet..just trying to get ideas...

Sounds like a plan. New bushings and CV shafts and see how she runs after that

Anyone had a cv shaft randomly work itself loose like that? Could be it wasn't torqued properly when the motor was swapped i guess...swap is about 6mo. old

I guess what I was wanting to know was whether or not I should go ahead and put threadlocker on the bolts and prevent possible later issues..
