2003 Durango Brake Noise
I just bought a 2003 Durango. It is making a high pitched squeaking noise whenever I hit the brakes.
I have taken it to 2 places to have it looked at and they both told me the same thing: there is nothing wrong with the brakes -
they are metal and are just going going to make that noise. There is nothing that can be done about it.
This noise is very annoying and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I just can't believe
there is no way to get rid of it.

It is a brake pad issue. My D made that noise after a while. I put on pads that are "anti squeak" and they are fine. Make sure to turn the rotors so they are perfectly flat and smooth when you do the brake job.
