Question iac or tps cause no start?

truck died randomly the other day, no warning, rough idle or anything, just shut down completely.

Haven't been able to start it since. Cranks but no start. Threw codes for iac and tps. could these cause no start?

Yes. Since they are both in same general location, check t make sure the sensors are still conncted and no ground in the wiring. Both of these are covered in the DIY sticky for FAQ's. Take a look at cleaning the TB (also covered in that section) and maybe swap out some sensors.

the IAC sensor can cause HARD starts (usually) NOT no start, try holding the gas pedal down while cranking, if it starts look to replace the IAC motor

i have NEVER heard of the TPS causing starting issues, usually idle issues or surging issues while cruising.

I have in regards to a ground in the wiring or sensor itself drawing too much power from the pcm (my last issue, thats was one of the things i needed to eliminate in the diagnosis)

Thanks for all the info. Went to my dealer today and grabbed a new tps and iac, truck still didn't start. Turned out to be the coil. Replaced it and the truck runs pretty smooth now and starts on a dime
