Default Performance stuff

Has anybody done any performance enhancements to their Durango?

I got the 1999 Durango 5.9 4x4 and was wondering what could be done to get a bit more HP and gas-milage out of this thing.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

lol @ lvphotos

of course there are mods that can be done to your durango, however anything shy of transforming it into a smaller car will do exactly 0 to help your mpgs

brick under the pedal for mpg?

an exhaust is probably the most common thing you could do.

id say a CAI intake is more common, but the two really should be done together

Best answer ever.

Original poster - Lots of mods. Some work, some don't, and some have to be done with other mods to get effect. Power costs money and generally power costs MPG too.

What's your budget?

For power? Headers and exhaust. tranny shift kit. Superchips tuner. Get a Stroker kit. Ported and polished tb. Cai. There's even a 12Oz nos shot you can get for it. Upgrade the gears for better torque

Checking in. Most y'all seen my truck or hit my cardomain page under same lvphoto name. Search before posting. Note beer was not consumed before message. Same thing on all cars... intake exhaust tuner. Old school loose the weight, drill some holes. I mean get the crap that's not needed. MPG 14-18 is my best. 360 gets less I heard.
