Default Door jammed?

Help!
I've slammed the rear hatch door on a blanket and now it won't open.
Got the blanket out, and when I use the electric locks you can hear the mechanism moving but it won't unlock.
any Ideas?

I had this issue too, and Googled this:

The clip is a step-by-step, so have something to jot notes on. The release rod going from the handle mechanism to the latch is notorious for falling out of the clamp if the door is slammed too hard or shuts on something. When reinstalled, use a set of pliers to lightly crimp the clamp back onto the rod. Since the trim will be apart, toss some grease on the latch to save yourself some trouble later.

If the rod has indeed come out of the handle/door lock, simply pull it up to open the door. Getting the lower trim off is a bear, as the light has a lock-clip in it and it won't fit through the hole without being forced.
