Default tv cable issues

ok so i got my gov press solenoid and switch changed and i can drive anywhere without it acting up so im happy about that.
but...
now my d shifts out of 1st gear quite quickly at about 2000rpms no matter how hard i press down on the gas it still wants to shift at the lower rpm. and i want to get full throttle out of it especially when im towing my 4wheler around. its just a pain. and its slow to get up to speeds.
now correct me if im wrong but isnt the tv cable supposed to take care of the shift time. or am im mistaken.
cuz i have adjusted it all the way in and all the way out. and it still wants to shift at the lower rpm. i have even went as far as resetting the pcm every time i adjust it in case it was computer related.
help me if you can.

the tv cable has to do with kickdown shifting as far as i know, but you should have it adjusted so that the lever on the trans moves without delay with the butterfly valve linkage.

make sure the tv cable didn't pop off the lever on the transmission

The TV cable does quite a lot of things within the RPM band, as per throttle location. It is simple to adjust it and the instructions are already here.

You should also change out the Transmission Output sensor as that is what tells trans to shift and when. Yours is on the drivers side about 1/2 way down on the trans if I remember right.
