Default No headlights

Fuses, Relays and a new headlight switch. Bulbs check out fine. During the day the blinkers, brake lights etc work fine. Once the switch is turned it kills the rest. Both the old one and the new one. Ideas?

bad switch -- EDIT* Did not see that you already bought a new one... Does it blow the fuse?

sounds like a problem with the wiring. If the fuse is being blown it could be a short, if it's not it might just be a bad ground.

Its not blowing any fuses and I've checked grounds and all bulb sockets. I've also used silicone grease in all sockets to make certain that no moisture or dirt can get in. This one has me stumped.

Update! Faulty new light switch. Drove two hrs this evening with headlights on and no issues! Took it back to Napa on the recommendation of the manager and he said it wasn't the first time something was defective. Wife is happy which means I'm happy!

that's good news because chasing down wiring problems is a pain in the ****, and the ctm is expensive.
