pinion seal
Well it helps to tell us what year, engine, what side or parts, and whether it is 4X4 or 2WD when asking questions.
Next, to try to answer your question;
If you're talking about the REAR axle then you first remove the U-joint/driveline, then nut, then you remove a washer, then the yoke, then the seal. However, if you are talking about the washer then you would have never seen the bearing so I'm lost to your question, however let me give you some ideas.
If the washer is stuck, meaning the one right under the nut then leave it attached and use a 2 finger puller. Place the fingers on the joint impression side (flat side) and put the bolt to the face of the pinion bolt. Now remove.
You are going to have to pull the carrier to replace the pinion bearings, yes there is 2 of them and 2 races. You will need a Master Carrier Rebuild Kit.
