Default Need some advice

2003 Dodge Durango SLT 4.7 4x4
at present: 265/70R16

Can i go with a 275/70R16?

Is the only difference the width of the tire?
Any help you can give is appreciated.

I thought that the second number was the aspect ratio so therefore it would be slightly taller as well?

Thanks,
I just wanted to make sure before I ordered these tires. I am pretty sure they will fit. Guess we will find out.

it should fit no problem. on a rough estimation and due to slight manufacturer differences yours sizes for total diameter roughly equal : 265/70 = 30.6" and 275/70 = 31.15"
most tire websites have tire calculaters or usually the tire brand list the specifics in tire sizes and etc for info on a specific tire.

it should fit, however it WILL be slightly taller than the stock tires as the second number is a ratio of height and width

Yes this is true. Its the ratio of the first number, but considering the width is only 10mm more, it wouldn't be very much.
