Default Oil Pressure, A Prob Or Not? With Pictures

Was wondering if the oil pressure at these certain speeds are correct? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks. Theres also another picture that it wouldnt let me upload and the details on there speed was Rpm's roughly @ 1100 and oil pressure around a little less then 40, and the speed of the durango was @ 29mph. Thanks again.

oil pressure will vary with ENGINE speed, NOT vehicle speed, need the tach reading to compare

also for a cold engine (as your 2nd picture shows) oil pressure will be 70-90PSI (your 2nd picture seems about right to me, as for the other one i cant tell w/o the engine speed, i usually have around 70-75 cruising with the engine fully warmed up, your 1100 RPM and 40PSI sounds fairly good to me

Since your tach only goes up to 6k it you probably have a 5.2 or 5.9.

My 5.2 usually sits 1 needle width below the top safe zone mark (don't really feel like figuring out what the actual number would be) when it's cold and at idle, like yours is. Once its warmed up and is at idle it sits just below the middle mark. When at highway speeds (70-75mph @ around 2000-2100 rpm) mine sits just around halfway between the middle and the top of the safe zone.

Like shrp said it's going to depend on the revs and not the speed of the vehicle, but from those two pics it looks normal.

you'd probably get a check gauges light for that. For the most part as long as it's within the safe zone, you should be fine.
