Default Differential Fluid Change F,R,Tcase

What are the Fluid Requirements for the Front, Rear, and Transfer Case? Requirements as in Fluid Levels and Types?
75w-90 For Front and Rear Diffs, and ATF+4 for T-Case but how much in each, and yes i know 7oz tube of K & W Chemical Trans-X Posi-Trac Limited Slip Gear Oil Additive

Mobile 1 Synthetic 75w-90 Front and Rear
In Rear 7oz of said additive

My question is amount of Fluid to put in each?

Also When Should you change the Transmission Filter?

If anything ill just buy the cases of 6 each and whatever is left return, but hoping that is not needed and someone helps before the weekend.

you kinda just keep filling it until it is like half inch below the fill hole by sticking ur finger into the fill hole.
Front dif probably will take like 1.8 qts, rear might take almost 2.5 quarts. T-case will probably take 1.5 qts.

Trans filter and fluid should be every 30K if you want your trans to last.

If Advance Auto Catalog says it will, then it will work.

fluid levels depend on which axles you have. if you got the 10 bolt rear end then its going to be different from the 12 bolt rear end. and this is directly from chrysler. the front and rear diffs use 80w-90 gear oil. or GL5 gear oil. the front uses 3.0 pts or 1.4 ltrs, the rear uses 4.9pts or 2.3 ltrs.
and for the transfer case all you do is un do both the top and bottom plugs to drain. reinsert the bottom plug, and fill the transfer case with atf+4 till it starts to seap out of the top plug then you reinsert the top plug.
now for the friction modifier you ONLY use it if you know for sure that you have a limited slip differential. not every d has a limited plip differential. mostly all slt's were built with open diffs. the slt+ and rt models were mostly built with limited slip.
i am not sure what the quantity of fluid is for the 10 bolt axles. but you should call your local dealership and have them print out a build sheet specific to your truck so you know what you have in your vehicle. all they will need is your vin# to do so. its free.

the open diffs were standard on these trucks, only a select few got the LSD and there is no specific rhyme or reason to it, it may have been part of the R/T package but saying most SLT+s got it is wrong, SLT+ was just the SLT package plus a couple of INTERIOR luxury items one of which were heated leather seats

however those fluid capacities do sound right, i believe the 9.25 is what he gave you the numbers for, the 8.25 only holds slightly less so just get enough for either (use the numbers he posted)

I know quite a few here don't suggest using Fram oil filters...is it the same for the trans filter kits?
http://www.framcatalog.com/Application.aspx?b=F
Also,if you DON"T care for the Fram trans filters what brand do you suggest?

Why thank you Blaine.

I usually get Mopar filters, but who knows who is building them at any time?
