We may get one this week and wondering what to look for etc. It has about 83000 miles and is a 4wd. How hard is it to change the spark plugs and front brake pads. I have googled problems on this suv and came up with overheating and not finding what is causing it. I was told it is a 1 owner and was owned by a police officer,hopefully i can call him and get some info thanks

 

Plugs and brakes are pretty much the same as you'd find on any truck. The 4.7 has plug on coil ignition, so you have to remove a bolt to get the coil off. They're very reliable, definitely ask about its history, and if its got any issues, but you found a nice low mileage one.

 

We went and looked at it,it was in another town that the dealership has. It is not as nice as i was hoping for and the pics made it looked very nice. Has some scratches all over the door was unlocked and i opened it. Has a hole in the carpet and has a am/fm cass and the p door locks did not work. I looked under it and had some leaks looks like trans. I am hoping they will give me the mans phone # and i can get ahead of him. Wife has not said much
