Default 1999 Dodge Durango RPM drops to 400 - 500 & stalls during braking no codes

1999 Dodge Durango
Runs fine in Park & Neutral at idle & revving up
Runs good in Drive and when driving
Come to a stop after it's been driven and it seems to almost grind and stall to about 400-500 rpm but then the rpms jump back up to @900-1000 running fine.
My guesses? IAC valve sticking or the VSS?
No Check Engine Light on, no codes came up.
Anyone got ideas?

check your battery terminals and make sure they're good and clean. a poor battery connection or a weak and failing battery can cause goofy things like that. if it idles fine it's probably not the iac, but it wouldn't hurt to clean it. there should be steps in the diy section saying how to clean it.

Check your TPS.... The throttle shaft where it goes into the TPS on mine broke ( PO is a dumbass and tried to bend it for some ungodly reason) so the truck will run but the TPS is not doing as it should.

What you said above is how my truck is behaving right now with the TPS not giving any input ti the PCM.

Hmmm..... TPS could be causing this issue too, you're right. Might try an el' cheapo swap from a junkyard throttle body with all the sensors. My other 2 Durango's never had this problem. Will also clean up the battery terminals.
