Question Replacement for A/C Compressor

The a/c compressor on my durango needs to be replaced, my main question would be if I should just buy the new compressor or I should get the kit.

I found the compressor on RockAuto for ~250, and the kit for ~300 on Buy Auto Parts. Is the kit worth the extra $50, or will a new compressor be enough?

What all does the kit include?

All the compressors require that the orifice tube, expansion valve, drier and accumulator are replaced at the same time for the warranty to be honored.

If the kit includes all that then then i would say yes the kit is worth the extra $50 bucks...

Yea, that's what I'll do, was just thinking about getting a new compressor but I read somewhere that while it might be a quick fix, it's bound to happen again if I don't also replace the other parts.

Thanks for your reply.
