Default Durango 5,9 R/T problem with hot air in car

Hello everybody, I'm from Slovenia and buy a 2002 Dodge Durango 5,9 R/T few weeks ago. In my country, Durangos are very rare and I have half Durangos in Slovenia (yes, only 2 exists ). So, now it's time to start reparations on car, step by step and I see that there are many experienced users in this forum. My Durango have 2 separate air heater and A/C evaporator for front and rear part of vehicle. Problem is there: Outside temperature is 20°C / 68°F so A/C is off, I set temperature sliders all way to cold and expect fresh 68°F air from outside, but fan blowing hot air, like the sliders are at middle between cold and hot. Rear part of vehicle is slightly better, but not ok. I must switch on A/C compressor to drive normally or open the windows. The problem is even stronger first miles after a car with hot motor is parked some time. I think that there stil circulate hot water through heaters when sliders are set to cold. Does Durango have one water valve (on-off, regulated?), which is located on right rear side of engine or there is additional water valves inside heaters? Have someone some kind of electrical and hidraulic plan for this Durango? Sorry for language and thanks for answers. Marko.

your temperature blend door is not closing all the way, there are no heater valves on these trucks, in order to fix it you will likely have to pull the dash to figure out exactly why the door isnt closing properly

Ok, thank for answer, I try to open the heater box and see how blends work. From below, i see and hear that servo motors step by step opens or closes, as i put command by slides, but don't see, if blends inside actually move... By the way, what function have some kind of water valve in motor compartment, right side to the engine in way of driving, and below windglass, the tube go from water pump to this valve (in my durango Bosch) and then tube split and go to front and rear heaters?

Often where the temperature blend door connects to the actuator it is made of plastic and the connection wears out. There should be an after market replacement that is metal, if thats the issue. Good luck

Well, i figured out that this isn't valve but electric water pump. It switch on only at low speed and temperature slider set to hot, to help main water pump for beter circulating and heating.
