Yes I did, so far I'm down to 11.3 for the year. I'm going to put in new plugs & PCV. And see what that does, then change the OS. I haven't changed it yearly. Whoever it was that told me that must be rich because they cost about 70 bucks. I'd say it's been 7 or 8 years sice I changed it. But hte milage dropped off fast in the last year or so. But it could be the CORN GAS also.

I have a friend that works for a company that checks the amount of CORN in the gas, and he was in town over Easter. We went to about 20 stations and checked and none of them were below 10%. PA law says up to 10%. THEY LIE BIG TIME!!!!!!!! It averaged 17% and varied anywhere from 12 to 23%.

I P M O Big time!!!!!!!!

Whoever it was that decided to put CORN in gas should be drawn and quartered..........

Drill here and drill now. then start building wind mills, and I don't mean like the tiny ones they have out west either, and then start using the waves on the oceans......

I hear you on the corn gas.. kinda PO's me too but, would you expect anything less from PA? if you look real hard you can still find a few stations that have the good stuff but there days are numbered and there getting fewer and fewer.

The ethanol is part of the issue. The PCM in our trucks cant tell the difference and to reach the correct ratio it dumps in more fuel not realizing it shouldn't be. I would do the tune up first. Around here still plenty of stations with 87 and 91 w/out ethanol

Yes I did loose it again, I am now down to about 10.2 or so and falling. I still haven't done anything. I was sick for a while and didn't have the $$$$ to do anything. But I wil start with Plugs & a PVC in a week or so.

I'm not sure if it happens everywhere but here in Michigan we get reformulated gas during the winter months and that stuff will cause your mileage to suffer also.
Nothing you can do about it as long as the government is in your gas tank.

Silicone lubes and proper air in the tires, a light foot on the peddle and a good running motor is about all you can do.

Since I installed the OHC in my truck the best(HIGHWAY) mileage has been 17.5. Best(CITY) has been around 14. I live in NC. I still need to do a tune up and pcv valve. My mileage went up when I put on a flowmaster also.
