I picked up a 4.7 core but I dont know if its 16 or 32 tooth. do I need to pull the pan to count tone ring on the crank or is the tone ring on the cam different as well? I dont want to pull it aparts right now, just want to ID it so I can make desision on dwindeling my collection of 4.7's in the shed.

you can ID it by which PCM is connected to it, if there are 3 connectors it is the 16t (00-early 024.7s) if the PCM has 4 connectors (NGC, next gen controller) it has the 32t(02-)
