Not sure if anyone remembers about me posting about the noise i have been experiencing. Its a very distinct thumping noise, but only occurs when the steering wheel is at center position and gets slightly louder the more you turn to the left. If you turn the wheel to the right, there is no noise at all. I have a few ideas and see if anyone has experienced this. First, i am thinking loose pitman arm, though nothing feels loose if you grab it by hand and try to shake it. Also i am thinking possible warped rotor, but i don't think the noise would go away with that. Otherwise i am thinkin cv shaft.

 

Oh...forgot to mention noise is on drivers side....maybe tie rod thumping on spindle?
