The drivers side mirror on my 2001 durango has delaminated. I was going to replace it. The current mirror is the smaller fixed mount, power controlled, heated mirror. If I purchase the larger folding, power controlled, heated mirror, will the power connections be the same and are the attachment holes/bolts the same. I have already read the post on dropping the door panel to get at the mirror and it was very helpful.

Yes the bolts and harness are the same. When I bought by truck the previous owner had one folding and one fixed mirror that I slammed on a tree wheeling. Got a folding one and it all lined up

Well my new mirror came in and the installation was a easy. Thanks again to the forum for all the tips and how to info for these non mechanic fixes. This forum has saved me a chunk of money over the years.
