Question Keyless entry need help

Hi everyone, I have an 01 Durango and im having a problem with the keyless entry, hasnt worked since I got it, I put new batteries in it, tested the fob at the part store and it works, then I was under the hood and I pressed a button on the key fob and I heard a faint "click" but thats all that happened. I couldnt find a relay or where the click comes from.
Anyone have good knowledge on this issue?? Thanks!

it may need programmed. If you don't have a working remote you'll have to get it programmed by a locksmith or the stealer

You would think if it needed programed that it would do nothing as i could not(or wold not know) to connect with the CTM... AFAIK all the security features are controlled by the CTM.

remote locks are controlled by the CTM it either needs to be programmed or its bad and needs to be replaced. (i think it just needs to be programmed to your keys)
