Default Auto door lock question....

How do you disable the auto door lock feature? and when you unlock the doors via the inside power door lock button, you have to manually unlock the two back doors...If you don't hit the switch first they wont unlock...

When you hit the door lock button all the doors should either lock or unlock base on what way you pushed the switch...

As for the auto door lock feature .. Do you mean the Key Fob remote?

I think he means the doors locking when you hit 15mph. To turn that off you have to cycle they key on and off a few times and then press the lock button. I don't remember the exact procedure, but it's in your manual.

Yes the 15mph deal...I guess I better hit the manual again, I kinda just breezed through it...
So say the doors locked automatically as I drove and then stopped to let someone out of the back seat and they tried to unlock their door, it won't manually go up, you have to hit the power lock button...The back doors still won't unlock but now you can lift the lock button to get out...WOW, thats hard to explain...

Thanks, this was helpful! I've been meaning to do the same thing on my Shelby to reduce the wear on the locking mechanisms.
