Default 2001 Heated Seat Not Working, Light Solid, Not Blinking

I know this seems to be a on going topic, but the only thing I keep finding are threads about the blinking light.

Both my lights (driver/passenger) are on solid. Passenger seat heats up, driver doesn't.

I have no idea where to start since any thread I find about the heater not working, involves a blinking light indicating a malfunction.

if the light is staying solid that means the switch believes the seat is working, that means the circuit is drawing the appropriate current, there must be a short somewhere in the wiring and the only way i know of to find it is to start tracing wires
