Default help info about TPS and installing

2001 Durango with a 4.7 and engine light has come on with code p0320 i think. Something about not receiving a signal to something. Today it hesitated and sputtering etc. I got a tps and think that is the problem? I am going to put it on tonight and need some help with it. I am going to unhook the battery but will i need to do anything when i am done thanks

P0320 No Crank Ref Signal at PCM
the TPS will not fix your problem, you need to replace the crankshaft position sensor, it is on the passenger side of the block and is most easily accessed from underneath the truck
