No, me insulting you would be obvious....

Me saying that it's a burnt out bulb would be obvious as well....

However, I bow to your wit. Let's rewire the light.

because of the fact that there are more than two bulbs in the system, it is possible for one to be out and a casual glance show that all the signals are still working fine, hence why it causes some confusion with these trucks

so then there's a bad ground wire and we should just rewire the socket, then last but not least, if it still doesn't work then we should look at the bulb. silly me, I've been doing it wrong all these years. That's why I like these forums, one can always learn something.

My driver side turn signal started blinking real fast, wouldnt flash outside. Then I threw a p1698 code. I started checking all the connections and fuses and relays having to do with the TCM, and somehow my transmission issue went away and my turn signal went back to working again. I was good for a day and then the turn signal quit again and the transmission started acting sluggish. Check engine light came on again, but I cant retrieve the code this time. I'm thinking two wires are grounding each other out somewhere. Anybody know if the TCM and the left turn signal share a common circuit?
