Howdy fellow Durango care-givers, I am a new user of this forum.

I was working on my 2003 Durango 4.7L SXT this morning to remove the Transfer Case Control Module.

I removed the kick panel and found this wire and electronic part hanging over another wire, dangling, under the steering column.

Does anyone know what this is? I couldn't really find much identification....from the wiring diagrams (brief search) I couldn't identify it.

(Now back to removing the TCCM)

The mystery part is the BTSI (brake transmission switch interlock) and it was replaced when my aftermarket remote started was installed.
