added turn bulb to unused lens in corner lights
I had started off initially wanting to simply wire the sidemarker bulb so that it'd blink with the turn signals when the parking lights are off and turn off with the turn signals when the parking lights are on, making it appear to be blinking in opposite phase with the turn signals. You can accomplish this by disconnecting the ground wire from the sidemarker bulb and connecting it to the turn signals 12v wire.
I decided against this because the 194 bulb in the sidemarker isn't bright enough to be very visible during the day, so I decided to try and fit a 921 bulb (same as the 3rd brake light's bulbs, but amber of course) into the unused lens. I tried it out on the corner light I had with a cracked lens and it worked out fine so I went ahead and did it on the corners on my truck.

Wiring pictures. The two outside wires are the ones you want to tap into. The outer black one is ground and the green (on driver's side) or brown (on passenger's side) is the turn signal hot wire.

Feel free to ignore the mess in my parents garage, if it was mine it would all be very meticulously organized seeing as I'm captain OCD.

thanks. I always wondered why Dodge never did anything with that lens, and had been wanting to do something with it. It was fairly easy too. Took about half an hour to cut the holes in the housings with a dremel and rasps, then another half an hour for wiring and such.
