Default Heater issues

Hello all. New to the forum, new-ish to Dodge. As my name suggestems, I'm a Camaro guy. No offense. Long story short, about 7 years ago my wife no lnger wanted me working on the Z28 and insisted on an SUV. I'd rather tow my Chevy than drive a Ford. Imports are out of the question...so, here I am...2002 Durango.
Car has been great so far but suddenly my heater won't heat! This brutal SoCal winter is really getting to me. My first guess is heater core, but I figured I'd check with the experts for tips and tricks. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you all. I look forward to killing many work days on this site.

No heat at all? Could be water pump. might be the blend door won't switch from cool to hot.

Try back flushing the heater core. Disconnect the heater hoses at the water pump and passenger side front of the intake manifold. Using a garden hose force water into the end of each hose alternating back and forth between the two until the water runs clear. Reconnect the hoses, top off the coolant system and enjoy your new found heat.

Thanks guys! I'll try flushing it this weekend. Hopefully that'll help.
