Well...this happened...
Back in November but yeah haha. Got a new light to replace that but I was wondering what the best way to get the bumper back down and out is. Also is there anything that could potentially be broken behind the damage? Wires, lines, etc. As you can see, there are some bent fins (I have no idea how that happened in the accident O.o) and there is a line on the left of the radiator/cooler that was SLIGHTLY bent but doesn't seem to have affected anything. But it looks like the Durango won the fight since I still have a headlight, blinker, no metal damage and a non-busted battery haha I never did like the battery placement on those...

In life there are a lot of "You could buff that out" moments... This may not be one of those moments. When I hit a deer with my Durango, I ended up twisting the driver's side bumper bracket, and I crushed the impact bar. Along with some other things it ended up being a $600 fix. So, if you want to see if you can straighten that out, maybe you could start by looking at the brackets behind the bumper. If those are good and you didn't rip any of the bumper cover mounts, you should be able to just maneuver it back down and under. Quick-Zip, Zip Ties, Tie straps, whatever you'd like to call them ARE your friend for speedy and cheap fixes.
Yeah, it was actually a slow impact hit so I'm pretty hopeful that nothing serious was damaged. It's more like the plastic absorbed the hit and was just pushed up. I'd have to take a more serious look to make sure no brackets or anything were broke though.
