My durango will not start. Pulled a plug and have spark, getting gas I can smell it and you could smell it on the plug. I'm thinking a cam shaft sensor but no code is showing up. I did have a p1294 code showing but that's an engine idle code.

Will this problem always show a code or could the sensor just have gone and since it won't start it's not showing up or could it be another problem?

 

not to sure what it is. but if its an idle issue why would the truck fire up and run if it having issues knowing how to idle? also just because there is fuel does mean that rules it out. having fuel is one thing but having ENOUGH is another
