2002 Durango SLT Transfer case question
hey everyone, first post here.... i have a bit of a problem with my 2002 durango SLT. its the AWD version and I went offroading not that long ago. I soon started to hear a sound from under the truck like i have mud tires on the front. I drained and filled the fluid for the front diff and everything looked good in there. i then moved back to the transfer case and i noticed that where the drive shaft connects to the transfer case, it looked like there was a rubber boot on there to protect from dirt or whatever and mine has ripped off. I do not know what this part is called or if it can even be replaced... i took some pictures of it but theyre a bit blurry because my phone decided to stop auto focusing today.
can this part be replaced or does it lead directly into the transfer case and mine is now shot?

I don't what to tell you about the missing rubber boot but I can tell you that mud and clay can easily collect on the inside of your wheels which will give you that rough ride.
If you can put it on a lift and hose your wheels out, that would be idea, however, you might have to pull each one of them until you find the glob of mud that's stuck inside of the rim.
