I started my durango it ran for a minute then it died had the battery tested they said it was bad so i bought a new one had the alternator tested they said it was fine so i reinstalled it. I then changed the starter and right back to square one when i turn the key i only get one click i dont know what else it could be if anyone could help me out i would appreciate it. I am a Disabled guy with four kids and cannot afford a new vehicle at the moment, any help would be greatly appreciated cause i have no way to get around at the moment

I'm a bit confused with exactly what the problem is but from what I'm reading; it would start then stall, you replaced the battery and starter, and now it just clicks and doesn't turn over.

Check the cables going to the starter and make sure they have good contact. Do the same with the battery cables, check for corrosion or anything else on the connectors at both ends. Try putting it in neutral to start it, if it starts your neutral safety switch is bad. You could also swap the starter relay (pdc under the hood) with another one for the horn or something and see if maybe the relay is bad.

 

i started it it ran for a minute then it stalled out know it wont start so i had the battery tested then replaced it that didnt do it so i had the alternator tested they said it passed so i put it back in then i replaced the starter and still wont crank only get one click and thats it dont know what else it could be any info would help

 

try those things I said in my last post and see if any of those work
