Looky what we have here...
Well I'm under the truck yesterday checking out the leak coming from my xfer case and none too happy about it. I believe it is residual effects of my crash in June just now showing up. I had to have the water pump, serp belt, and radiator flushed as part of the bend over service at my local dealer. This just weeks after getting my truck back for the body shop. I am starting to think the dealer service isn't all that great. I pay nearly $900 for the work and then they tell me," Oh yeah there's a leak from your transfer case but we dont want to fix that now." Oh gee thanks. As I am down there I look back at my exhaust and low and behold I have a Flowmaster Muffler and what looks to be a cat back exhaust system. Cool I never thought that throaty report ws stock. Well I bet it's been on ther close to 5 years as the metal is all rusty looking (no holes or cancer) and I am thinking about a Magnaflow system anyway. I wonder if I would see any performance improvement though as here I was thinking I was stock and no my D's been modified. How long does it take a stainless cat back system to weather to the point of looking like a factory exhaust?
