Default Teletubbies ate my cat!!

After changing out my tps on my 98 5.2 the truck started cutting out while accelerating. It happens and then comes right back, it feels like its stalled but pops right back to life. When I took off the tps to inspect it i noticed that the 2 plastic notches inside it that are in the tb are somewhat "stripped" my thought was that it mat have had a small defect in the part and when it cuts out its slipping then catching as it comes back around? Any advise would be great Im trying to straightn this out before the snow hits tonite.

Ive also cleaned the dukie out of the aic valve it seems to have helped a little as it was just as black and greesy as the hair on jersey shore.

Update, this morning I exchanged my new tps and got another one put it in right there in the parking lot. It did not cut out on the way home (it did do it on the way there) and while idiling in drive its near perfect between 5 and 600 RPM but in park its bouncing some. like 7-800 RPM I also notices that the plastic peice that clips onto the AICwhen you look at the connector pins in that they will move back and forth but would this cause the idiling to be off in park? Any insight would be awsome and THANK YOU to all who looked at my post.
